2019 Ford Mustang GT500: Official Image Shows Off Huge Hood

By  |

After looking at all the spy images, we finally got to see how the 2019 Ford Mustang GT500 will look like thanks to the new official image released by Ford.

The image does not show us a close up of the Ford Mustang GT500 but it does show us the Ford Mustang GT500 when viewed from the top. The most obvious feature is the huge vent on the hood which took up almost half the length of the hood.

The middle looks the same from that angle and in the back sits a huge rear wing that looks like it is made from carbon fiber. We also know that the vehicle will be powered by a supercharged V8 engine that will be offering about 700hp. The engine will be mated to either a manual transmission or an automatic transmission.

The 2019 Ford Mustang GT500 should be making its debut later this year although some people think Ford might wait for the Detroit Auto Show to unveil it.
