2019 Ford Mustang Flexes Its Muscle To Intimidate Dodge

There was no denying that Dodge got all the spotlight last year when they came forward with their Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat but it looks like it could be Ford’s time to shine this year as the automaker prepares to show off their new 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 soon.

When the Challenger SRT Hellcat was announced, we were all pleasantly surprised by the 707hp engine that it had under the hood that made it one of the most powerful muscle car out there but new reports suggest that the upcoming Mustang would beat that.

According to the reports, the Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will come fitted with the 5.2-liter V8 engine that will either be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed auto transmission that will allow the vehicle to deliver more than 700hp when it arrives.

The actual numbers are still a mystery but it made sense that Ford would aim to beat the Challenger SRT Hellcat model. As for the design, it is said that the Shelby GT500 will keep the older design instead of coming in with the latest design language.
