2019 Ford Mustang: Challenger Won’t Be Able To Dodge This

By  |

Dodge managed to impress us all when they showed off the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat but it looks like somebody else is ready to take the crown from them as Ford has announced that they will be offering their own Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 model.

We are still months away from actually seeing the Ford Mustang GT500 but here is what we know about the upcoming car. According to the leaked documents, the GT500 could be powered by a 5.2-liter V8 engine that will be offering about 710hp and 650lb ft of torque which is slightly more than what the Challenger SRT is offering right now.

It was also reported that the Mustang GT500 will be coming in with three cool modes, Weather, Launch Control and Drag Strip. With what the Shelby GT500 is right now, it will most likely come with a manual transmission but the new 10-speed automatic transmission might be offered as well.

The Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 is expected to make its debut early next year.
