While it might not look like it, the 2019 Chevrolet Volt will be getting some significant upgrade this year.

On the outside, the 2019 Chevrolet Volt will now come with a new exterior color option called the Pacific Blue Metallic which will be offered with a black and blue interior color scheme.

Other upgrades that we can expect to find include the new 7.2 kW charging system that will allow the vehicle to change to full in just 2.3 hours using a 240 volt Level 2 outlet instead of 4.5 hours. This new charging system will be offered as a standard feature on the Premier model but the Volt LT will get it as an optional feature.

Chevrolet also made some changes to the Low drive mode and regenerative braking paddle to allow greater regeneration when slowing down. The threshold for the engine kicks o to start providing cabin heat has been lowered which means owners will get to keep the vehicle in full electric in temperatures as low as 12 degrees Fahrenheit.
