2019 Chevrolet Volt: Should Chevrolet Let It Go

By  |

Before the Bolt, the Volt did have a spot in Chevrolet’s line up but with what the newer Chevrolet Bolt has to offer right now, is there really a need for the Volt.

Chevrolet still seems to think that there is still a place for the Volt as they give the vehicle some changes for the 2019 model. The 2019 model will allow drivers to set a lower temperature for when the engine starts to run the heater.

Other upgrades that we can expect to see from the Volt this year the newly updated infotainment system, power driver’s seat on the Premium trim, upgraded digital rearview camera, a new pattern on the cloth seats and more.

As with the previous Volt, the 2019 model will come powered with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that will be paired with an electric motor. The powertrain will allow about 53miles of the all-electric drive.

Besides getting some feature updates, the 2019 Chevrolet Volt will also come with a high price tag with the base model now coming with a $34,395 price tag.
