2019 Chevrolet Suburban Will Get Bigger Engine Thanks To New Package

By  |

Although the Chevrolet Suburban did get an RST trim level model, most people felt like there was no reason to get it since the 6.2 liter V8 engine option was not offered on the Suburban.

If that was one of the reasons why you ignored the Chevrolet Suburban RST model, you might want to reconsider it once more as Chevrolet announces the new package for the Chevrolet Suburban.

The 2019 Chevrolet Suburban package will come with the same appearance upgrades as the standard model but instead of the standard engine, buyers can now enjoy the 6.2-liter V8 engine that is capable of delivering about 420hp and 460lb ft of torque. The engine will also be mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The RST package will also come with upgraded brakes with red calipers along with a Borla exhaust system that will help improve exhaust flow as well as add sound to the vehicle. No price was announced.
