The 2019 Cadillac XT5 will be getting a few new standard features and while that is nice, you might also want to take note that those upgrades won’t be free.

According to the dealer order guide leaked online, the 2019 model will now come with a few new standard safety features including the Driver Awareness package for the Luxury trim model. The Platinum trim model will also be getting a more advanced Driver Assist Package which includes safety features like the adaptive cruise control, front and reverses auto emergency braking, auto parking assist and more.

With all those upgrades, the 2019 Cadillac XT5 will now come with a higher price tag as well. The base model will now retail for $42,690. The Luxury trim will cost $49,490 while the Premium Luxury model will now come with a %55,190 price tag. The top of the range model, the Platinum trim will now cost $66,890.

It is also believed that the price hike was also caused by the fact that the top of the range ZT4 model is getting too close to the Cadillac XT5 base model.
