2019 BMW 3-Series Update Fills Fans With Hope

After the last few updates, it looked like BMW was moving away from the sporty driving they are known but these updates on the 2019 BMW 3-Series makes it clear that being sporty is still important to BMW.

It is clear that the BMW 3-Series has been redesign with sportiness in mind. The vehicle will now be lower and also lighter as BMW reports that the 2019 model will weigh 121lbs less than the previous model. The agility and steering precision of the BMW 3-Series has also been improved.

BMW also developed an innovative damping system which uses lift-related dampers to improve the handling of the car. There is also the M Sports Suspension which will reduce the ride height. Those fitted with it will also be getting an 18inch lightweight wheels.

No word on the performance of the vehicle right now but they did say that it will be fitted with a revised four-cylinder petrol engine with better efficiency thanks to the improve eight-speed automatic transmission. The engine will also come with a particulate filter so that it can meet the Euro 6d-TEMP standard.

The 2019 BMW 3-Series is expected to make its debut at the Paris Motor Show.
