2019 Audi E-Tron: Power Not The Main Issue Here

By  |

We have been getting bits of information about the 2019 Audi E-Tron throughout the year after the vehicle made its appearance at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year with the latest bits of information being the horsepower and torque of the E-Tron.

According to Audi, the Audi E-Trom will be powered by two electric motors. One in the front and one in the back. It was revealed that the combination of those motors would allow the Audi E-Trom to deliver about 355hp and 414lb ft of torque.

Audi added that the vehicle will only be able to produce that power for 60 seconds of sustained acceleration. Go longer than that and the power will be reduced. The vehicle can also be pushed to go above that number thanks to the high power mode that will allow the E-Tron to deliver close to 402hp if needed

The numbers are not too bad and clearly, the electric vehicle market is not lacking when it comes to powerful model but the price will be a huge issue. It is estimated that the E-Tron price tag could be between $70,000 to $80,000 when it arrives.
