2019 Audi A4 and Audi A5 Will Leave Their Stick Fans Behind

By  |

More and more automakers are choosing to release their new models without the manual transmission option and it looks like Audi is also joining the club as they reveal some additional details for the 2019 Audi A4 and Audi A5.

According to Audi, the A4 and A5 will now come with only an automatic transmission option. With the arrival of those models, every Audi sold in the US will be automatic. While it might seem like a huge loss to the stick drivers, the decision actually makes sense since Car & Driver reported that only 5% of the A4 buyers are actually manual drivers.

Luckily, automakers like BMW, Genesis, Porsche, and Cadillac still has a few manual options to offer but at it probably won’t be long before the list is shortened once more and stick drivers will have to deal with the fact that manual transmission is the thing of the past now.
