2019 Alfa Romeo MiTo Kill Off In Favor Of New Crossover

By  |

As the demand for hatchback drop further, Alfa Romeo’s plan to replace their three-door hatchback with a new crossover model might actually be a smart move here.

The 2019 Alfa Romeo MiTo was first released back in 2008 and has been offered with both petrol and diesel engine options with three transmission options. According to Alfa Romeo, the MiTo will be killed off early 2019 as people seems to prefer the five-door models over the three-door models now.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, it is believed that the replacement will be a small crossover model that will come to sit under the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. It will not only get a new body but a different style as well.

So if you are looking to get the three-door hatchback, you might want to go and get it now as it will only be around for a short time. The current Alfa Romeo MiTo is sold for $15,820 and is being offered in Italy, Germany and UK.
