Most people wants their infotainment system to come with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support now but Toyota is looking to go a whole new direction with their future cars.

It has just been announced that Toyota will be one of the first to offer their vehicle with the new AGL-backed infotainment system and the first model to rock the system will be the 2018 Toyota Camry.

According to the reports, the new infotainment system will help improve the connectivity and functionality of the because. The best part of it all is that the AGL system is open source so Toyota can customize it any way they like.

As nice as it sounds, it does not sound like the new system would be compatible with the popular Android Auto and Apple Carplay and some fans are not too happy about that. Would you prefer to have the new AGL or have the old infotainment system but get both Android Auto and Apple Carplay?
