2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Finally Makes Its Way Over

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV was an instant success in Europe and fans over the US have been waiting for Mitsubishi to bring the vehicle over ever since the vehicle was released in Europe and Japan some time ago. Luckily for us all, the wait is almost over as the vehicle will be arriving in the US before 2017 ends.

Under the hood of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is a 2.0-liter engine that will be paired with two 60kW electric motors. The combination will offer the driver about 195hp to work with. The Outlander PHEV can be charged with a plug or via its regenerative braking system.

The vehicle will come with three different modes, the EV drive mode, Parallel Hybrid model as well as the Series Hybrid mode. On top of that, the driver will also get to select from three other models, Eco, Battery Save and Battery Charge.

Safety systems that will come as standard are the multi-view camera, lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, blind sport, auto high beams, forward collision mitigation and more.

The Mitsubishi Outlander will be sold for $35,535.
