The 2018 Mercedes GLA is going to be revealed on 9 January in Detroit but we have been treated to a teaser photo showing off the vehicle before its debut.

We can see that some changes have been made in comparison to the model that is out at the moment and when it arrives it will compete against the BMW X1. It may come out ahead thanks to the GLA having Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, something that the X1 doesn’t have.

From the teaser image we can see that the Mercedes GLA offers up a new grille as it now comes with black slats, the headlights are now slimmer and we can see a new bumper, which now comes with fog lights integrated.

On the interior the vehicle offers up an infotainment system of which Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both a part. There is also a new touchscreen and plenty of options are available for the trim in the cabin.

Are you waiting to see the 2018 Mercedes GLA in all its glory?
