Most compact crossovers are now struggling to get the Top Safety Pick+ rating from IIHS main because they could not get a good rating for their headlight but that is definitely not an issue that Mazda is facing right now.

The vehicle was just given the Top Safety Pick by IIHS thanks to the adaptive lighting system that was given a Good rating. The standard headlights were also given an Acceptable rating. That combined with them excelling all the other crash test gave them the top safety rating from IIHS.
