2018 Mazda CX-5: Great Problem To Have – Like Honda CR-V

There are some problems that car makers don’t mind and Honda have gone through one with the Honda CR-V as the car maker had to invest money to boost production of the vehicle as it was so popular. Now it looks like the same may be happening with the 2018 Mazda CX-5.

The new Mazda CX-5 is going to be made available in Australia soon and this has meant that Mazda have had to open up extra production. They have now revealed that they are going to build a second production facility and this will be the Hofu plant in the Yamaguchi prefecture.

The plant will help Mazda to be able to maintain the strong global demand for the 2018 Mazda CX-5. The vehicle is making its debut in Australia at the end of the month and it has remained a favourite in Australia and was listed as the best-selling medium sized SUV during February.

A spokesperson for Mazda said that the Hofu plant produces the Mazda CX-3 crossover along with the Hiroshima plant and the production chief said that there is also capacity at the plant to produce enough Mazda CX-5s to meet the high demand.

He said that the company would do everything possible to get the Mazda CX-3 out to customers as fast as possible.
