When it comes to some of the best compact crossovers out there, the 2018 Mazda CX-3 and the Honda HR-V is definitely up there but if you had to pick one, which one will it be?

The Mazda CX-3 comes in with a 2.0-liter I-4 engine that will be offering about 146hp and 146 lb-ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and will return about 29mpg in the city and 34mpg on the highway. The CX-3 will come with safety features like DRL, tire pressure monitor, back-up camera and more.

The Honda HR-V, on the other hand, will come with a 1.8-liter I-4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The engine will be offering about 141hp and 127lb ft of torque which means it won’t be as powerful as the Mazda. The Honda HR-V will also return 25mpg in the city and 33mpg on the highway. Safety features like DRL, tire pressure monitor, back up camera will all come as standard features.

At the end of the day, we think that the Mazda CX-3 might have the upper hand here but what about you?
