2018 Mazda 6 Still Not Getting The Message

By  |

It looks like Mazda can’t seem to get the fact that as good as their infotainment is right now, people really do want to have the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Mazda initially indicated that they will not be offering the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support on their vehicle as they think that their infotainment is more than enough but they later changed their mind.

Now, the Mazda 6 will come with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto but only if you get the higher trim option. The base model, the Mazda 6 Sport will not be getting those as standard and their customers will have to pay extra if they would like to enjoy it.

Seeing as most automakers are already offering the feature for free on all their trim models, it is odd that Mazda would offer it as an optional feature. What do you think?
