2018 Mazda 6 Sport: Mazda Is At Fault Here

By  |

Most automakers are already offering their vehicles with the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support so why does Mazda still think that not all their customers deserve to get the tech as a standard feature?

In the beginning, Mazda felt that their own infotainment was more than enough for their customers and that the new tech is not needed but as the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto became more and more popular, they finally decide to offer it but there is still a catch.

Although the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will be offered in the 2018 Mazda 6 models, those that opt to get the base Mazda 6 Sport model will not be getting those as a standard feature. Instead, they ill have to pay extra for it to get it installed which would also encourage most people to skip the Sport and go for the slightly higher trim model.

Do you think Mazda should have just offered Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to all their models as a standard feature?
