2018 Mazda 6 Missing Tech Will Cost Them

By  |

The Mazda 6 is one of Mazda’s best-selling model but that if Mazda continuing to hold back on some important tech, the fans could start walking away from them.

While most of the automakers are rushing to make sure that their newer models all come with the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, Mazda is not doing the same. They initially reveal that they will not be offering both those support on their 2018 Mazda 6 but they later change their opinion by saying that will eventually offer it but when is that going to happen.

Although it is just an infotainment system, a lot of people said that they would be willing to consider another model that offers the Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support if they were around the same price range.

Would you turn your back on the Mazda 6 because of an infotainment system?

I have had 2 Mazda 6s, a 2014 and a 2016. However, they will be my last of Mazda does not incorporate Apple CarPlay. Their current GPS is garbage!

Yes I have driven a Mazda for the last 10 years but I’m looking at other makes of car for my next purchase. Seriously, how hard can it be to just implement Apple Carplay?

I currently have a Mazda 3 and would really like the apple carp lay option as I have used it on my partners hyundai.
I’m looking seriously at the Yunnan i30 as my next car.
I’m happy with the Mazda quality but it’s the driving features that car play has that I would use more.
