2018 Hyundai Sonata: Underdog May Be Able To Catch Camry And Accord

By  |

Hyundai has put a lot of hard work and effort into getting where they are today and they are going up against vehicles such as the Toyota Camry and the Accord with the 2018 Hyundai Sonata. While the Sonata may be the underdog, it may have what it takes to put it on equal footing.

At the moment the Hyundai Sonata is behind in the segment but the 2018 version may be able to change this. It is going to be given a new facelift and this is under the concept of the Dramatic Design Change, which is an idea from the car maker to make the Sonata appeal more to a younger audience.

Hyundai recently revealed two new sketches of the 2018 Hyundai Sonata as you can see that some of the biggest changes are with the front of the vehicle. The standard version and the turbocharged both get a different design for the grille.

The 2018 Hyundai Sonata should be coming with the 2 litre T-GDI engine and not the turbo charged. But what are your thoughts; will the 2018 model have what it takes to compete with the Camry and Accord?
