2018 Honda Odyssey Wants CR-V’s Spot

By  |

The Honda CR-V is currently one of the top-selling Honda models in the market right now but it looks like there might be a new model up there soon once Honda is done with upgrading the Honda Odyssey.

Unlike most of the upgrades, this one matter because Honda has invested heavily to make sure the Honda Odyssey is everything that their customers can ask for. Not only will the vehicle be getting a new design but it will also come with HOnda’s latest tech and features.

To make sure everything goes according to plan, Honda invested up to $149million. Part of the money will be used to upgrade the transmission manufacturing plant in Ohio. The rest will go to the Tallapoosa Georgia plant.

Thanks to all that investment, the Honda Odyssey will be able to come in with the new 10-speed automatic transmission. Hopefully, more details will arrive soon as we get closer to the release date.

The current Honda Odyssey is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that will be delivering about 248hp. The Odyssey will return about 19mpg ion the city and 28mpg on the highway. It will only need 7.7 seconds to go from 0-60mph and has a top speed of 120mph.

Will the Honda CR-V get outshine?
