2018 Honda Odyssey Shows Toyota How It Is Done [Safety]

The 2018 Honda Odyssey was put to the test by IIHS and it ended up coming out with the Top Safety Pick award from IIHS while their rival the Toyota Sienna had to walk away with it.

According to IIHS, the Honda Odyssey managed to score a Good rating for the passenger small-overlap crash testing while the Sienna was only given a Marginal rating. IIHS also tested out the LATCH child seat anchor ‘s ease of use on these models and while the Odyssey was given a Good+ rating, the Sienna only got an Acceptable rating.

So it looks like the Toyota Sienna might need to take a few tips from their rival Honda Odyssey so that they can improve on the safety of the vehicle. Besides these two models, the Chrysler Pacifica and Kia Sedona were also tested by IIHS and both of those were also given the Top Safety Pick rating.

Just like many of the SUV and crossovers out there right now, the headlight is one of the main reason why they could not get the Top Safety Pick + award.
