2018 Honda CR-V: There Is Going To Be Plenty Of Choices

By  |

One big plus about the 2018 Honda CR-V is the amount of options that are coming our way. There is going to be a choice of three options, the three seating rows, turbocharged four powertrain and the plug-in hybrid variation.

We have seen some recent spy shots and these revealed that the 2018 Honda CR-V has a longer wheelbase in the three row version. However we have heard that the two-row version is still going to be available.

Honda may be able to differentiate the subcompact HR-V with a larger SUV this way as the subcompact is at the moment perhaps too close to its bigger brother.

When it comes to the turbo-four powertrain Honda seems to have taken a leaf out of the book of the Civic as they have given it a sportier look. The 1.5litre turbocharged VTEC unit offers 174 horses in the compact sedan. However this could get a retune on the SUV.

At the moment nothing has been promised about the plug-in hybrid, but it is a possibility that we may get to see on the next generation of the CR-V.
