2018 Honda CR-V Still Can’t Beat RAV4

By  |

Honda has just released their new Honda CR-V in Europe and although the vehicle will be coming with a new design and lots of new features, it looks like the RAV4 might still have the advantage here.

The Honda CR-V will be coming in with a 1.5-liter VTEC petrol engine that will be mated to a manual transmission or a CVT transmission although only the manual option will have the front-wheel drive option. The engine will be offering about 170hp and 162lb ft of torque. It will only need 9.2 seconds to go from 0-62mph and has a top speed of 130mph. A diesel engine will not be offered but a new hybrid engine might be added in the future.

Honda CR-V will come with the Honda Sensing as standard. It was also given a five-star rating by Euro NCAP safety assessment.

Despite everything it has to offer, the consumers are still saying that they prefer the design of the Toyota RAV4 and what the Toyota model has to offer. If it was up to you, which model will you pick?
