2018 Honda CR-V Promised With Greater Choices

By  |

The 2018 Honda CR-V is going to be heading our way soon and with it will come greater choices for options. The three options include a plug-in hybrid, turbo-four engine and a three row.

We have seen spy shots of the 2018 Honda CR-V and they showed us the vehicle with the three rows and longer wheelbase, however it has been said that the two-row version will still be around.

Honda may wish to offer a larger version so that it stands out above the subcompact variation. The latter isn’t that much smaller but it may be too close to the larger version.

In regards to the turbocharged four cylinder option Honda seems to have taken a page from the book of the Honda Civic to bring more excitement to the 2018 Honda CR-V thanks to a new look that is sportier. For the compact the 1.5 litre turbo VTEC gives 174 horses and we expect the engine to be tuned to offer more juice on the SUV.

At the moment the plug-in hybrid is only a possibility on the 2018 Honda CR-V and we haven’t heard confirmation about its arrival.

This is something that is being mulled over due to the significance in challenging the Toyota RAV4, which at the moment is the leader for sales.
