2018 Honda CR-V Not Good Enough To Take RAV4?

By  |

The Honda CR-V is one of the top-selling SUV in the market and Honda has just made the 2018 Honda CR-V even better with a long list of updated features and also a new design. With all that going on, you would think that the CR-V now has what it takes to take down the RAV4?

The Honda CR-V is powered by 1 1.5 liter VTEC petrol engine that will be mated to a CVT or manual transmission. The engine has an output of 170hp and 162lb ft of torque. With that, it will need about 9.2 seconds to go from a standstill to 62mph with a top speed of 130mph.

While we might not be seeing a diesel engine come with the 2018 model, we should be seeing a hybrid option being offered. The 2018 Honda CR-V will also be fitted with the Honda Sensing which also played a role in the model getting a five-star rating from EuroNCAP.

Even with all of these, some consumers are saying that they would pick the Toyota RAV4 over the Honda CR-V. Would you?
