2018 Honda Accord Hybrid Can’t Live Up To Previous Model?

By  |

We’ve already learned a lot about the 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid but the fuel economy numbers did not reveal until now. According to EPA, the 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid will be offering about 47mpg in the city and on the highway.

While it is not a bad number, it needs to be pointed out that the previous Honda Accord Hybrid model was offering about 47mpg on the highway and 49mpg in the city. Since both models are still offering about 212hp, that means the 2018 model is not as fuel efficient as the previous model.

Despite that, the Accord Hybrid remains one of the highest fuel economies when compared to their rivals and with the kind of ride and handling the Accord offers, the slight drop in fuel economy should not be a huge issue for many.

We still do not know how much the 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid will be sold more but we should be seeing it in a few months time.
