2018 Ford Mustang Won’t Let Camaro Convertible Escape So Easily

While some people haven’t taken the facelift of the 2018 Ford Mustang all that well, others have embraced it. Some people have said that the grille and hood, which is more angular, makes the vehicle look as though it is frowning. One thing that people noticed during the reveal of the Mustang was lack of mention of a convertible model. However Ford isn’t going to let the Camaro Convertible escape so easily.

Now the 2018 Ford Mustang Convertible has been revealed just days after the coupe. The convertible offers the same changes as the hardtop and the V6 3.7 litre engine is gone and in its place is the 2.3 litre four cylinder EcoBoost engine. The V8 5 litre remains, but there has been tweaks to it and this means it now offers up more power than any vehicle before it.

Both of the engines come with the six speed manual with has been upgraded or the 10 speed automatic gears. If you choose the Performance Package you get the MagneRide damper technology for optimized handling and ride.

The 2018 Ford Mustang convertible offers the same technology and this includes a 12 inch digital instrument panel and many driver assistance packages, including pedestrian detection and pre-collision.

But what do you think about the 2018 Ford Mustang convertible, does it looks any better with the roof taken away?
