2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT Revived And Refreshed With Viper Engine

By  |

We certainly cannot forget the fact that many were left disheartened upon learning that the 2018 Dodge Challenger Hellcat SRT could be halted in production. Now there’s seemingly a reason to reignite the hype again, because it might just be back in production (hell yeah!) and what’s more, it could be packed with an 8.1L Viper engine instead.

But then again, we shouldn’t be too excited about the possibility of the Challenger being revived because obviously, it’s just been reportedly so. Sorry to actually gotten your hopes up, though. Moreover, some reports have even suggested that there’s a likelihood of the Challenger Hellcat in getting rebooted, but it might also be discontinued again. Ah, the irony.

So, let’s just say we’ll have to take this piece of news with a grain of salt. You’ll never know which to actually believe on until Dodge comes out with an official announcement, and god-knows-when that would happen. Let’s just hope it’ll be happening soon and won’t have to be discontinued again and again and again.

If rumours are proven true about how the Challenger could be revived with a refreshed Viper engine, we might really just have the chance to see it come to light one day. And since Dodge has already somewhat sensed the potential for increased demand, it wouldn’t make sense if they weren’t to have it rebooted, right?
