2018 Dodge Challenger GT Shows Bigger Doesn’t Always Mean Better

There are some times when bigger may be better but when it comes to the 2018 Dodge Challenger GT this doesn’t apply.

There are some people who have asked why the 2018 Dodge Challenger GT, which is the first two door muscle car to come with all-wheel drive, doesn’t have Hemi power. Instead it comes with the Pentastar V6 engine instead of the V8 Hemi engine.

Well it looks like the FCA wants to sell as many vehicles as possible and bear in mind that the type of people who would go for the 2018 Dodge Challenger GT are those who would prefer year round drivability more than high performance.

The 2018 Dodge Challenger GT offers the V6 engine to help it bring down the weight along with the price tag. This is something that is going to please many all-wheel drive buyers who put fuel economy and a lower price tag lower than a large amount of power.

The V8 version of the Dodge Charger all-wheel drive didn’t sell so well, so it would make a great deal of sense to offer up the 2018 Dodge Challenger GT with the V8 engine.
