2018 Chevrolet Traverse vs Subaru Tribeca: What’s To Come?

We don’t know a great deal about the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse and the Subaru Tribeca as both of the vehicles have been kept tightly under wraps. However, there are a few things that we expect to see when they make their arrival.

It is looking like the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse will come out at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. A teaser photo of the vehicle was released and Chevy said that they are unveiling the Traverse on 9 January. The photo showed off the silhouette of the side of the vehicle and it looks like the lower edge or rear door window may look like that on the 2018 GMC Acadia. The headlights and the taillights are slimmer and the side character line is distinctive.

It is thought that the 2018 Chevrolet Traverse will carry eight people and it should offer a cargo space and legroom that is among the best in the segment.

The Subaru Tribeca is said to be like the Outback on steroids and it was recently shown off at the LA Auto Show. It will offer up seating for seven and it’s been touted as the perfect family SUV. We are expecting it to be on-sale in around a year and it will offer up a macho looking body and have the Outback style glasshouse.

While it hasn’t been confirmed it is possible that the Subaru Tribeca will offer the 3.6 litre H6 engine giving 247 pound feet of torque and 256 horses and it may be CVT. The vehicle should be handsome and it will be among the biggest of the vehicles in its class.
