2017 Toyota Tacoma Has A Little Brother & Its Global Debut Is Near

By  |

Seems like the 2016 Toyota Hilux would be ready for a global roll-out soon, where it’s first destination is none other than Malaysia. So, that’s saying something, isn’t it?

We’ve heard that the new Hilux will make its launch debut in Malaysia in the second quarter of this year. And if you do check out the spy shot above, be rest assured that it’s going to be well on track to be released soon. We’re wondering if the Toyota Tacoma is proud to have this little brother, though.

And though the picture doesn’t show the complete body of the pickup, at least we get to see the various design cues; well, something’s better than nothing, right? From the picture, it looks as though we can be expecting the Hilux to have new taillights, alloy wheel design, its double-cab body style and a questionable-looking sports bar.

The picture below is another spy shot taken which shows the front fascia having what seems like halogen reflector headlights, alongside tape covering the Toyota and Hilux badging.

Just how much are you looking forward to this happening?
