2017 Tesla Model 3 May Flatten Both Leaf And Bolt

By  |

Tesla has revealed something that could flatten both the Bolt and the Leaf. They have updated the Supercharger maps on their website along with announcing plans for expansion during 2017.

If you look at the updates you can see that Tesla is going to offer Superchargers in Mexico and Hawaii, while they will expand in North America in the US along with Canada and we are talking about large scale expansion.

Tesla has around 800 Supercharger locations around the world but soon this is going to be more than 5,000. The expansion is set for next year and it is going to double the figure that currently stands. This of course is going to go down well as the Tesla Model 3 is set to be launched during the middle of 2017.

The 2017 expansion plans of Tesla are going to be aggressive and it is thought that the Tesla Model 3 will be in full production during 2018. While it is going to be a success in its own right, the infrastructure updates will help it.

So it does look like the Tesla Supercharger network is going to be the key for success of the Tesla Model 3 as the more Supercharger stations the more people will buy the vehicle.

The expansion and the Tesla Model 3 is going to hurt the Chevrolet Bolt and the Nissan Leaf.

“…that could flatten both the Bolt and the Leaf” Not at twice the price it won’t.
