2017 Tesla Model 3: How This Could Hurt Model S, Model X
The 2017 Tesla Model 3 is coming our way soon and some people believe that it could really hurt the Tesla Model S and the Model X when it arrives and in different ways.
One of the ways the 2017 Tesla Model 3 may hurt sales of the Model S and Model X is the features it is bringing. Some of the features could leave the Model S and Model X stale. It may be almost impossible or very difficult at the least to retrofit the tech of the upcoming Model 3 into the S and X and if so the glory days of the vehicles may soon be over.
The Tesla Model 3 doesn’t need to generate more sales as pre-orders of the vehicle went down very well when Tesla announced it. This means that there are a lot of people wanting to get behind the wheel and they are prepared to overlook the Tesla Model X and Model S to do so.
While we know some things about the Tesla Model 3 Tesla hasn’t revealed everything and of course the carmaker is well-known for making changes on the fly. This means that the Model 3 may offer features and tech that are even better than what have already been disclosed and if so the future of the Tesla Model X and Model S looks grim.
