2017 Subaru WRX STi Shortchanges USA

By  |

Those who purchase the 2017 Subaru WRX STi in the USA may be shortchanged. This is thanks to those in South Africa getting the vehicle with something that those in the USA don’t get.

This is the High Beam Assistant and while you may not think this is a huge deal, it is a feature that isn’t going to be on the 2017 Subaru WRX STi version in the US. This means that not all vehicles built for all countries are going to be the same.

The Subaru Outback in the US will come with HID headlights in the US, while the US 2017 Subaru STi isn’t heading to the US until 2018. The lights do actually make a difference at night.

So would this put you off the Subaru WRX STi in the US if you have to wait to get hold of the HID lights while people from South Africa get them before?
