2017 Nissan Rogue: Hybrid Make Be Heading To US

By  |

When it comes to Nissan they don’t really have a great track record for hybrids and with the 2017 Nissan Murano hybrid in the US they may be about to botch things once again.

The 2017 Nissan Murano hybrid will be made available in just 600 units for the year and this may be so that Nissan can test the waters out and see how consumers will take to the hybrid crossover. This could make way for the launch of the 2017 Nissan Rogue hybrid to arrive on US soil.

The Murano is a model that is less popular than the Rogue, so choosing it to gauge the reactions of consumers may be a good idea as the nameplate isn’t going to get in the way.

The Murano hybrid comes with a price tag of $40,000 and it should offer up 249 horses along with 29mpg combined in the FWD and around 28mpg if you choose the AWD version. The regular version of the Murano offers 24mpg combined and the closest rival to this is the Toyota RAV4 hybrid, which offers 32mpg combined.
