2017 Nissan Leaf vs Prius Prime vs BMW i3: Hit With An Ugly Stick

By  |

Plug-in vehicles tend to be made with looks that are ugly and if we were back in 2011 then the looks may be acceptable, but we are now into 2016, so they are not.

However this is a problem that exists today and in fact many car makers are incredulity to the plug-in and they actually think that people are responding in a good way to the vehicles, vehicles such as the Nissan Leaf, Prius Prime and the BMW i3.

You really cannot take the Nissan Leaf seriously as the corporate grille from Nissan is missing from the vehicle and the proportions of it just look off. There is going to be a new look for the 2017 next generation model and we hope that this is going to be one that takes inspiration from the Nissan IDS Concept. This means that the vehicle may finally have a look that people may be able to start taking seriously.

In the case of the BMW i3 it is a case of more is less and it could do with sitting lower down, this is due to the height and its stance hiding the superb handling ability. We would also hope that the signature kidney grille of BMW could become less cartoonish.

When it comes to the Toyota Prius there isn’t much that we can say about it. Toyota is said to be putting all their efforts on the polarizing effect and the design of it is daring, with some people actually liking its looks.

But what do you think about the styling of the Toyota Prius, BMW i3 and the Nissan Leaf?

Paying 25 cents per 10 miles has a beauty of its own.
