2017 Mazda CX-5: Don’t Snooze On It

By  |

we are not far away now from the release of the 2017 Mazda CX-5 and the carmaker is doing its best to get as many of the vehicles out as possible, but in a short time. So if you want one you better not hand around.

We have seen the 2017 Mazda CX-5 in Machine Grey Premium Metallic in the Proactive variation and it looks superb. It offers up the SkyActiv-G 2 litre naturally aspirated engine with four cylinders and it comes with six speed automatic gearing. Offering 153 horses it may not be the fastest on the block, however it does offer up good fuel economy.

The 2017 Mazda CX-5 is going to arrive in the US with a choice of two engines and these are the 2.5 naturally aspirated and the 2.2 litre SkyActiv-D. Europeans have had the turbodiesel unit for some time and it offers up 56mpg when driving in real life with the cruise control on, heated seats on and air conditioning turned on.

The turbo-diesel version of the Mazda CX-5 is making its way to the US by fall of this year and it will be classed as the 2018 model.
