The 2017 Hyundai Elantra has plenty to offer and it is a competitor that is impressive compared to the Honda Civic for the most popular sedan. However perhaps it isn’t going to be the on-paper figures or the neat tricks that it offers up that are going to win over the buyers.

What might win them over is the fact that Hyundai has now teamed up with Amazon Prime for the promotion of the Elantra in the same way that the best-selling Chevrolet Volt has.

Promotion isn’t really a word that is in the dictionary for the Volt as it doesn’t make any money from the advertising from GM or the marketing. But it seems that the car maker has its own way of bringing in people.

The car can be taken to the home of the prospective buyer and they can give it a test drive along with there being an expert to answer questions.

Up to date this method has brought in sales of more than 12,000 units up to now and Hyundai is going to take the same approach for the compact sedan. They are teaming up with Amazon Prime with the name of Prime Now and Drive Now, so that people can order a test drive of the Hyundai Elantra.

An expert from Hyundai would deliver the vehicle to the doorstep of the customer and then both would go out on a test drive of the vehicle. The service is available on only weekends and between 9am and 7pm and at the moment its only available in Orange County and Los Angeles. Perhaps in the future Hyundai may include more locations.
