2017 Honda Ridgeline Takes on Frontier, Tacoma and Colorado

By  |

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline was a firm favorite at the Detroit Auto Show but it did get some comments that were not in its favour. What it mainly got criticism for was it looks as some people said that it was just boring to look at.

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline has been put up against vehicles such as the Toyota Tacoma, the Chevrolet Colorado and the Nissan Frontier. But is the Ridgeline able to take on the V6 pickup trucks?

The Nissan Frontier offers the most torque while the Chevrolet Colorado has more horses. This means that the 2017 Honda Ridgeline cannot beat either of them. For the payload it is the Chevrolet Colorado that comes out ahead due to it having a towing payload of 7,000lbs.

The Honda Ridgeline does come out ahead for having the widest payload though and so it is ahead of the Toyota Tacoma as it hasn’t taken any points.

The Toyota Tacoma offers blind sport monitoring but this isn’t enough to beat the Honda Ridgeline as this vehicle comes with other superb safety features, including the lane departure warning.

While the 2017 Honda Ridgeline isn’t going to beat the other it can at least hold its own and it does come in above the Toyota Tacoma.

Ha ha, this has to be joke right? There is a reason why the Tacoma is the by far and way the best selling in the class and you completely overlook it.
