2017 Honda Ridgeline Takes on Colorado, Tacoma and Frontier in Huge Battle

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline stole the headlines at the Detroit Auto Show but also some bad comments were made, mostly about the vehicles lack of looks.

Now people have begun to compare the Honda Ridgeline with the likes of the Toyota Tacoma, Chevrolet Colorado and the Nissan Frontier. But how does it manage to go up against these trucks?

For horsepower it is the Chevrolet Colorado that leads, the Nissan Frontier is the vehicle that offers up more torque and the Colorado comes out ahead for having the biggest towing payload at 7,000lbs.

Where the Honda Ridgeline does come into its own is for having the widest payload. This means that at least the Ridgeline does come in ahead of the Toyota Tacoma as this hasn’t won any points.

The Toyota Tacoma does have superb blind sport monitoring, however the Honda Ridgeline does beat it due to the fact that it comes with lane departure warning along with other great safety features.

The Honda Ridgeline may not stand out well ahead of the others but it does at least hold its own.
