2017 Honda Ridgeline Price Tag Too Pricey

By  |

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline offers a lot to like about it if you are in the market for a utility vehicle. The ride is a comfortable one but it does come with a price tag that is too pricey for some.

The Honda Ridgeline has the global truck platform and it comes with a lot of the same structure as the Honda Pilot. If you are looking for a new truck that you can haul things with or tow, then the Pilot is a great choice. Some people have likened it to a Pilot with a bed.

The Honda Ridgeline offers theV6 3.5 litre engine which gives out 280 horsepower and 262 torque. It offers the six speed automatic transmission and owners can choose between front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline does come with plenty to like about it but one thing that isnt in its favour is the high price tag. The entry version is $41, 370 and some people have said that they would only be interested in it if it was around $18,000. For just over $43k you can get behind the wheel of the F150 Lariat.

Some people have also complained that in dealers you only get to see the top of the range versions of the Honda Ridgeline, which command a price tag that is even higher. For $5k less than the price of the Ridgeline you can get the Chevrolet Colorado.

Would you pay out upwards of $41k for the 2017 Honda Ridgeline and do you think the vehicle offers enough to warrant such a high price?
