Many people are not accepting the fact that the 2017 Honda Ridgeline is actually a truck and this is the genre it is being sold under.

The Honda Ridgeline just can’t make people love it and there have been plenty of haters out there. One of the main reasons is that the Ridgeline doesn’t perform much like the truck it is supposed to be. It does have the looks of a truck and it comes with extra storage to the back but it is let down by it’s off the road abilities.

Honda never said that the Honda Ridgeline was a tough truck. The design of it was for people in the city who didn’t want a real truck but wanted something for hauling things around. The features and technology that came with it were there to make the vehicle more enjoyable.

The Honda Ridgeline offers up the V6 3.5 litre engine and this gives out around 280 horses and 262 torque. It has the six speed automatic transmission and it can tow up to 5000lbs. you should get about 18mpg from it when in the city and 25mpg when driving out on the highway. It takes 6.6 seconds to reach 60mph from standing still and the top speed is 112mph.

But what are your thoughts, should the Honda Ridgeline get all the hate that it has been getting?
