2017 Honda Ridgeline: Downside Could Be Its Price Tag
There is a great deal to like about the 2017 Honda Ridgeline for anyone looking for a utility vehicle. The Ridgeline offers up a ride that is comfortable and it’s great for hauling things around, plus it comes with plenty of technology. But there is a downside and this is the price tag.
The Honda Ridgeline was built around the global truck platform and this means that it offers up the structure of the Honda Pilot. Anyone who wants a great looking truck that also likes the Pilot may consider it as it has been called a Pilot with a bed.
The engine in the Honda Ridgeline is the 3.5 litre V6 and it offers up 280 horses along with 262 of torque. It comes with the six speed automatic transmission and you can choose from the all-wheel drive or the front-wheel drive.
The biggest downside to the 2017 Honda Ridgeline is that it is offered with a price tag that is high. The starting version comes in at $41, 370 but some people say that it should be closer to $18,000. The F150 Lariat is just over $43k.
There are some who have complained that in dealerships you can only get the top of the range Honda Ridgeline, which has a price tag that is even higher. Bear in mind that for $5k less you would be able to get the Chevrolet Colorado.
But what do you think about the price tag of the Honda Ridgeline, is it worth $41k?
