2017 Honda Ridgeline Could Be Too Expensive To Make It Matter

By  |

There is a lot to like about the 2017 Honda Ridgeline such as the fact that it offers a comfortable ride and it’s superb if you want a utility vehicle. What does let it down is the high price tag that the vehicle comes with. So is the price tag of the vehicle too expensive for the vehicle to really matter?

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline offers the global light truck platform and it comes with a lot of the structure of the Honda Pilot. Where it comes into its own is for towing and hauling things around and some people have said that it is more like a Pilot with a bed.

The Honda Ridgeline offers up the 3.5 litre V6 engine and it gives out 280 horsepower along with 263 torque. It has the 6 speed automatic transmission and it is offered with front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

So the Honda Ridgeline does have a great deal going for it but it has been putting people off by its high price tag. The price tag is $41, 370 and many people have said that perhaps it should come with a price tag of $18,000. You also have to take into account that for just over $43k you can get behind the wheel of the F150 Lariat.

There are some people that have said that if you look for the 2017 Honda Ridgeline at dealers there are only the upper levels on show and these have high price tags. Of course you can get the Chevrolet Colorado for $5 less and the Colorado does have specs that are very similar to the Ridgeline.

But what are your thoughts about the 2017 Honda Ridgeline, would you pay out $41k for it?
