2017 Honda Ridgeline, Colorado, Frontier and Tacoma Fight It Out

By  |

At the Detroit Auto Show the 2017 Honda Ridgeline made an appearance and the show was almost brought to a standstill. While the vehicle did receive a great deal of admirers there were some people who said that they thought the design was boring.

The Honda Ridgeline has competition by way of the Chevrolet Colorado, Toyota Tacoma and the Nissan Frontier, and so the fight is well and truly on.

The Chevrolet Colorado has more horse power, which puts it ahead. For torque the Nissan Frontier is well ahead. So the Honda Ridgeline isn’t able to beat any of them in this respect. The Chevrolet Colorado is ahead of them all for the payload as it can carry 7,000lbs.

The Honda Ridgeline does excel when it comes to having the widest payload and this means that it at least comes in ahead of the Toyota Tacoma, as this vehicle hasn’t scored points yet.

The Toyota Tacoma does have good blind spot monitoring; however even then the Honda Ridgeline is in front thanks to the fact that it also offers lane departure warning.

So would you choose the Toyota Tacoma or one of its rivals?
