2017 Honda Pilot, Mazda CX-9 Squashed By Highlander SUV

Sales of the 2017 Honda Pilot and Mazda CX-9 have been great, but they haven’t been as great as those of the Toyota Highlander SUV as they have outsold the Pilot by 2 to 1.

The Honda Pilot was said to be the best crossover to offer up three rows of seats along with it being able to drive almost without the drivers help on the highway. It offers great safety ratings and fuel economy, but it hasn’t been able to stop the Highlander SUV from taking the lead in sales.

The Highland SUV has been enjoying all-time best-ever sales during November. The RAV4 also managed to outsell the Honda CR-V, but the tables may be turned when the new version of the CR-V arrives with turbocharged engine and physical volume knob.

But how did the Mazda CX-9 do in sales? Well it sold 2,000 units, which was a tenth of the sales of the Highlander SUV. The Nissan Pathfinder sold under 7,000 units, which is down on the usual sales.

So what do you think of the Highlander SUV outselling the 2017 Honda Pilot and the Mazda CX-9?
