2017 Honda Odyssey Hybrid Is On The Horizon

By  |

The 2017 Honda Odyssey has now been seen again running about in the wild as the carmaker has been making more tests in the vehicle. Of course they have managed to keep the vehicle under wraps and this means that for the most part we haven’t been able to get a look at it.

Along with keeping the 2017 Honda Odyssey tightly camouflaged we haven’t heard much by way of talk about the vehicle from Honda either. We do know one thing and this is that it will be coming out during 2017. Details are scarce at the moment but there have been lots of rumours going around about what it might offer.

It is thought that the 2017 Honda Odyssey will offer up the same looks as the Honda Pilot and this comes with a design with a bumper that is lower, the LED lights have also been modified and the bumper has seen changes too. As the vehicle has been camouflaged so well we cannot tell if these changes have been made on it.

The engine in the 2017 Honda Odyssey may be the 3.5 litre V6 engine which offers up 248 horses. There should be a petrol engine and this will have direct injection and it has been said to offer up 280 horses along with 270 torque. This is the same as offered by the Honda Pilot and it comes with nine speed gears. We are expecting it to be front-wheel drive. It is possible that we might also see the 2 litre I4 turbocharged and it will come with better fuel efficiency.

At the moment you do have to take things with a pinch of salt as for the time being these are just rumours. For now we will have to wait until Honda opens up and provides us with information about the 2017 Honda Odyssey.
