2017 Honda CR-V: There’s Just Not Enough Space

Crossovers are in high demand at the moment and Honda realizes this and to keep up with the growing demand they are expanding production of the 2017 Honda CR-V. Honda will be producing the CR-V in an additional plant in Greensburg.

When production begins in Greensburg the 2017 Honda CR-V will be the first SUV to be built at the facility. The CR-V will be built alongside the Civic. Honda plans on spending $52 million to prepare the CR-V for Indiana, the Indiana plant opened in 2008 and it can produce 250,000 vehicles.

The plant in East Liberty in Ohio was the first to mass produce the 2017 Honda CR-V and it is also built in Canada. Honda is expecting the CR-V to become the best-seller over in the US and it will take over from the Honda Civic.

The fifth gen version of the Honda CR-V has been launched with plenty of new features and it comes with new engine choices and styling that has been updated. The engines include the 2.4 litre four-cylinder which offers 184 horses and the 1.5 litre turbocharged four-cylinder which offers 190 horses.
